While in High school, Thompson was labeled an emo for dressing in skinny jeans, giant hoodies and dark colors, but since then, his style has refined. He looks a bit like a Hipster these days, but he feels that his style is really all his. He still wears skinny jeans but the trousers are made of finer material. They are most always a dark color but he likes to mix it up with tan or off-white pinstripes. His style is a bit jazzy as he likes to wear shirts with collars, throwing in a tie, scarf or ascot where ever he sees fit. He never seems truly casual, as lounging shirts always have long sleeves and collars. He keeps his hair long and in his face, accenting the look with eye liner and the occasional black nail polish. As far as shoes go, he can be seen in anything from converse, DC’s, church shoes or golf cletes.

For someone who seems to mellow and calm all the time, Thompson’s background was extremely troubled. He was born on December 10, 1986 to a young, struggling couple. It was especially difficult because, as a child, Thompson was extremely sickly, often contracting colds and ear infections. His mother loved him dearly, but his father didn’t seem to share this adoration. He was abusive, both physically and verbally, and treated he and his mother in a despicable manner. He was an alcoholic with an addition addiction to recreational drugs, whatever money the couple did get was always put into his drug habit.

It escalated one night in Thompson’s 10th year when his mother was killed due to a debt his father had. Thompson was devastated and taken away from his father. He jumped from foster home to foster home before being officially adopted by a family in Tallahassee, Florida when he was 16. It was extremely unconventional but, Thompson came to love his new family. The Henson’s were the owner of a retirement home that was based on their sprawling property. The family of 7, made up of Thompson’s two parents and their 4 other adopted children, was wacky to say the least but were all filled with a love for one another. It was during this time that Thompson’s older adoptive sister got him into playing guitar, initially to accompany her and her singing. He grew to love it however and soo found that he could sing aswell.He gladly joined Rhylin once he was given the offer to become part of Sidestep Wolf. The two have been great friends ever since. His parents supported his hobby as best they could but Thompson was more interested in his studies, graduating near the top of his class. He stuck by his friend the whole way, who was kicked out of his house after graduation and bunked with Thompson and his family until the two moved out together when they turned 19. It was also that same year that Thompson came into a considerable amount of wealth, 1 million dollars inherited from his biological grandmother, and moved to California to pursue a career as a successful musician. Things were going great until the duo found out that they may need to become a trio. Rhylin is willing to do anything to become stars but Thompson feels a bit apprehensive about this, not wanting to just accept anyone. The duo are now sticking to the club scene to gain notoriety as performers.

Perhaps the most interesting moment in his life was when he found that he liked guys. It occurred to him in his 13th year when he started to develop feelings for the son of his foster parents. The two seemed to get along quite well and, in fact, this very same boy was instrumental in Thompson’s realization. He keeps this fact mostly to himself, only his adoptive family and Rhylin the only people privy to his sexuality.
